Shoei has combined 46 years of helmet design and manufacturing experience, racer track testing, and advanced aerospace development methods to create their most technologically advanced helmet.
ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS
Extensive wind tunnel and race condition testing was used to form and create the aerodynamic shape. This allowed for major strides in the overall motion performance and the advance aerodynamics of the X-Eleven.
AERO EDGE SPOILER
Specifically placed onto the rear of the helmet to improve aerodynamic properties by reducing drag and lift coefficients, reducing rider fatigue and increasing performance. The Aero Edge Spoiler also has an air exhaust function, making it an integral component of the helmet’s ventilation system
A.I.M. (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus)
High performance fiber materials are combined with extremely elastic organic fibers to create a shell structure that is ultra-lightweight, rigid and resilient.
ADVANCED VENTILATION SYSTEM
The X-Eleven’s ventilation system was designed exclusively for per formance under real and intensive riding conditions, not just plastic pieces slapped on for show, and not just for racing. Ventilation parts are molded and strategically located to create the optimal effect. This, along with Shoei’s development philosophy and diligence for comfort and safety, helped to produce the X-Eleven’s near perfect ventilation system.

3-D FULL SUPPORT INTERIOR, TYPE-3
Each component of the inner liner is ergonomically designed to offer the ultimate in fit and comfort. This design eliminates excess liner movement while riding, which increases the overall performance and safety of the helmet.
HYPER DUAL LINER II:
A 2-piece EPS impactabsorbing liner channels air to strategically located positions throughout the interior. This allows the warm air to be effectively drawn out through the exhaust vent system.
DUAL AIR CHARGE SYSTEM:
The forehead lower air intake and forehead upper “Air Scoop II” combine to make the Dual Air Charging System. Both vents work together to maximize flow-through ventilation.
AERO EDGE SPOILER:
Air outlet holes are precisely positioned to allow warm air inside the helmet to be exhausted through the force of negative air pressure.
LOWER AIR INTAKE:
Located in the chin bar area, the lower air intake provides two functions: one as a shield defroster, the other as a direct air intake for the ventilation system.
BREATH CHAMBER II:
Exhaled air is absorbed into the Breath Chamber II and exhausted by negative air pressure, eliminating shield fogging.
NECK OUTLET:
The X-Eleven is equipped with an air outlet vent at the lower rear neck area to allow for effective air exhaust.
CX-1V SHIELD AND LOCK SYSTEM
The newly-designed CX-1V is now wider to allow for greater peripheral vision. Simply turning the pre-set lever rearward while the shield is closed easily locks the shield down and prevents it from opening unexpectedly.
